Judaism: What We Do and Why We Do It

We have a current adult ed program open to the public that meets once a month on Sunday night, as well as a text study that is open and meets two Saturday mornings a month. Please check the calendar for dates and times. Adult Education is open to everyone. Inter-faith couples, anyone seeking to deepen his or her Jewish path, and anyone Jewish or not who is curious about Jewish traditions.

Learn about Jewish spirituality, texts, traditions, ideas and holidays. Participate in discussions about readings and ask questions and get answers. Adult Education class meets once a month, beginning in October 2008 and ending in May 2009. Please consult our calendar on this website for details. Classes will be held at Congregation Beth Shalom 2010 W. Koch Street Bozeman, MT 59718.

This year the Shalom Kids Hebrew School Program will be held most Mondays, commencing at 5:30 PM.

Please ensure that children have snacks before they arrive so that we can go straight into our Shalom Kids program activities. We will finish at 7:00 PM.

Each session will begin with songs, prayers and dancing. Children will learn Hebrew and Judaics.

The Shalom Kids Program is conducted entirely by volunteers. Thank you to those who are giving their time to make this a worthwhile program.

Note that we do still need volunteers! Please contact the temple if you are able to help our children learn Hebrew or if you can share our Jewish culture, traditions and religious perspectives with our kids.
